Française des Jeux (FDJ) is the state-backed national lottery and gaming operator of France. Founded in 1976, the company’s majority ownership is held by the French government.
FDJ holds a legal monopoly on all lottery games and sports betting in France. The company offers a variety of products, including lottery draws, scratchcards, and sports betting. It also manages the country’s participation in international lotteries such as EuroMillions.
The profits generated by FDJ are distributed to the state and contribute to the funding of various public initiatives, including sports development, veteran associations, and other non-profit organizations.
The biggest change for me on FDJ came after a small win. I realised how easy it was to use the winnings for another ticket instead of keeping them.
