GGPoker is a global online poker platform that was launched in 2014. The site is operated by NSUS Limited and is part of the GGNetwork. It offers a variety of poker games, including popular variants such as Texas Hold’em and Omaha. The site is distinguished by a number of proprietary software features, including integrated heads-up displays (HUDs), hand-tracking tools, and staking options. Since 2020, GGPoker has served as a host for the World Series of Poker (WSOP), allowing players to compete for official WSOP bracelets online. GGPoker is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, and other international bodies.
Tournaments are the main reason GGPoker gets my attention.
There always seems to be something happening, and the prize pools can make browsing the tournament lobby surprisingly entertaining even before deciding what to enter. I also like that there are different formats rather than every event feeling exactly the same.
The software feels more modern than some traditional poker clients. That might not sound important, but when you spend a long time at the tables, little things about the interface start to matter.
There is quite a lot going on though. Someone completely new to online poker might find all the different tournaments, features and promotions a bit much at first. I would definitely start with lower buy-ins and learn the lobby before entering anything serious.
For casual cash games there are plenty of alternatives, but tournaments are where I think GGPoker really makes its case.
I would happily use it again. If you enjoy online tournament poker and want plenty of choice, it is probably one of the first rooms worth checking.

the thing to like about gg poker is its tournaments. great prize pools, innovative formats and the fact that I can play against so many people really makes a differnece;

A mixed review for GG Poker
I have to say that I approached writing this GG Poker review with pretty mixed feelings. Having spent a few hours trying out its poker games, I’m not 100% sold on whether this will be the long-term casino platform for me.
On the one hand, I do like GG Poker’s promotional offering, and I found that there were plenty of interesting deals available when I was both a new and a returning player. Account setup and verification were pretty straightforward, too, with some clever tech in place to check over my supporting docs in (mercifully) just a matter of minutes.
As for the site itself, this is where my GG Poker rating takes a slight downturn. For me, things just look too cluttered and janky, and I didn’t enjoy the experience at all as a new player. A few refinements here and there could help, and, realistically, I should maybe take another look at the GG Poker app based on its user ratings – they’re pretty high.
I was quite impressed with the games at GG Poker, especially its exclusive titles like All In or Fold and Spin & Gold. I’d say that new players should give these titles a try as a priority, especially games like Mystery Battle Royale – that’s a real hoot.
See? I told you my GG Poker review was a mixed bag! Out of 10, I’d give it, like, a six or a seven, and might try it again in the future based on the strength of its app ratings in both the Android and iOS app stores.
