PrizePicks is a daily fantasy sports (DFS) platform focused on player prop-style contests. Founded in 2018, the company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The platform’s primary game format is a “Pick’em” contest, where users select two to six players from different teams and predict whether they will perform over or under a projected statistical total.
The platform offers contests covering major U.S. sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL. PrizePicks is legally licensed to operate in a number of states where DFS is permitted.
Prizepick feels like a casual, pick-up-and-play version of sports betting. Building multi-stat flex plays is quick and fun, especially with the discounted lines on certain days. That’s my favorite part of the app. I was asked for my SSN and a photo ID during verification, which felt like a lot for a fantasy app, but I was cleared the same day and haven’t had to redo it.
Deposits were instant, but withdrawals were slower than I would have liked, and one was blocked unexpectedly. My biggest frustration was a 6-leg play being reduced to 5 because a player was deemed ineligible, lowering my payout multiplier. Since then, I’ve been more cautious with my bets.
Support was mostly a chatbot, and getting the payout issue escalated didn’t lead to a helpful response. I’d recommend it for occasional fun, but read the void rules and promotional playthrough conditions carefully. Don’t expect a quick or satisfying answer from support if something goes wrong.
