Thunderpick is a cryptocurrency-based online sportsbook and casino that was founded in 2017. The brand is notable for its heavy investment focus on esports which includes running the Thunderpick World Championship, a Counter-Strike event. It’s esports betting menu offers pre-match and outright betting markets on a range of games. The site is mostly renowned for its live betting service. Thunderpick is designed for crypto-only transactions, accepting deposits and withdrawals in various digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether, and Ripple. Thunderpick holds a gambling license from the Government of Curaçao.
Thunderpick initially looks like the sort of platform I should like because esports is clearly a major part of the sportsbook.
There are markets for the games I would expect, and I prefer that to using a traditional bookmaker where esports is hidden somewhere at the bottom of the sports list.
The problem for me is trust. When I am choosing a betting platform, having lots of esports markets is not enough on its own. I also want to feel comfortable with the operator, payment process and customer support if something goes wrong.
That is where I would be more cautious with Thunderpick. Player feedback on PlayersRank is currently poor, and that would make me hesitant to put much money into the account until I had tested the platform properly myself.
The interface is not really the issue. It looks fine and the esports focus is obvious.
I just think there are other esports bookmakers where I would feel more comfortable starting.
For me, this is 3 stars. There is potential and the market selection is useful, but trust matters more than having another hundred betting options.

I first opened Thunderpick expecting to stick with regular sports betting, but I didn’t stay there for long. Once I started looking through the esports section, that became the part I kept coming back to.
CS2 caught my attention first, then I moved over to a few League of Legends and VALORANT markets. I liked how much choice there was without having to dig around for the bigger matches. Following a live game while watching the betting markets change made it much more engaging for me than simply placing something beforehand and waiting for the result.
When there wasn’t an esports match I wanted to follow, I spent some time in the casino. I mostly preferred the quicker games because I could play a few rounds and then jump straight back into betting without turning it into a long casino session.
The crypto side also suited the platform. Having different coins available made managing my balance fairly straightforward, but I was more careful once I started thinking about withdrawals.
I wouldn’t leave verification until the moment I wanted my money out. Even with a crypto-based platform, additional identity checks can still come up, so I’d rather have my account details and documents sorted beforehand. I’d also give a withdrawal some time instead of expecting it to appear in my wallet immediately.
Thunderpick surprised me because the feature I originally came for wasn’t what made me stay. Regular sports were fine, but esports was easily the strongest part of the experience for me.

Thunderpick is my go to site for inplay esports / outright winner bets. I love the look and feel of it. Odds are pretty decent compared to others non-esports focused bookies. It work brilliantly on mobile too, fast and efficient. The interface is everythng for me though.

Thunderpick impressed me right away with its slick look. Massive selection of esports options for serious esports bettors. I had problems signing up but customer service were really helpful! Explained it all to me. Highly recommended, especially for esports.

Withdrawals at Thunderpick are a freaking joke! Verification wtaf??? I won a bet and would they pay?? No!! No?? Voiding bets and asking for Verification documents endlessly. Stupid site! Do not bother with these jokers, an absolute waste of time!!

Esports was the main reason I gave Thunderpick a try. I found plenty of CS2 and Valorant markets, and compared with some regular sportsbooks, it felt like esports was actually a priority rather than an extra section.
I placed a few small bets and had a decent session. The odds were easy to follow, and I also liked being able to use crypto without making the payment side complicated.
My opinion changed when I tried to withdraw.
I was asked to complete additional verification, including proof of address. I understand why KYC exists, but I didn’t enjoy dealing with document requests at the exact moment I wanted access to my money.
The withdrawal remained the weakest part of my experience. I would have preferred completing all those checks earlier and knowing my account was fully ready for cash-outs before placing bets.
Thunderpick still has one of the better esports selections I’ve tried, and that would be my reason for returning. However, the verification experience makes me hesitant to keep a larger balance there.
